The Art of Magic & the Magic of Art
Transforming the World from the Inside Out
 Whether you call yourself a healer, teacher, artist, light
worker, shaman, magician, Pleiadian systems buster, faery emissary, or something else, you are here to uplift the world just by being who you are. You have your
own unique way of doing this, simply by being true to your authentic self.My own path leads between the worlds of Visionary Art and Energy Magic - the magic of expanding consciousness at will and shifting awareness between inner and outer realities. Every time we expand our consciousness, we change the entire world, because we are all connected. One of the ways I intentionally expand my consciousness is through my Visionary Art painting. It is a unique form of magic that I can share with others. This path between the worlds is known as the third road in the Celtic "shamanic" tradition. It is described in the tale of Thomas the Rhymer, where the Queen of Elfland takes Thomas across the river that runs with all the blood that has been shed on Earth. Their path then branches off into three separate ways and the Queen says to Thomas:  o see ye
not yon narrow roadthat's a' beset wi' thorn and briar? that is the Path of Righteousness and few there be that there aspire and see ye not yon wide smooth road that winds across the lily leaven? that is the Path of Wickedness though many ca' it the Road to Heaven and see ye not yon bonny, bonny road that winds across the ferny brae? that is the path to fair Elfland there you and I this night maun gae What if you could change your reality as easily as you can change your radio station? There are as many ways to change your reality as there are moments in a day. If you pay attention, you will notice magic everywhere. It is as simple as what Abraham-Hicks calls moving into the vortex. Sure, life will always be unpredictable and sometimes even challenging, but for every challenge there is a magical response. Look for the magical doorways and slip right through them into a different perspective. The more fun you make it, the faster your reality will change. That is what real Magic is all about. We choose the third path that leads beyond duality. As Rumi wrote, Out beyond ideas of wrong-doing and right-doing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there. True magic can create deep and profound changes in your life. Whenever it seems that there are only two paths or two ways of seeing reality, look for the third way, the ferny road. When you follow it, you will find yourself in the enchanted and magical reality of "fair Elfland" - and your life will never be dull or mundane again!  Our
ancient ancestors left us many tools, including myths and legends that
are full of magical
truths. We can use these tools to create real magic in our lives. In
fairy tales, wise old crones in the woods often sent seekers off on
magical
journeys where they
discovered their own inner power to shift their reality. Often they met talking animals that helped them find their way. Sometimes these Magical journeys were quite absurd or even comical. The successful seekers were usually the youngest sisters or brothers, or even outright fools. That should give us a clue that Magic, and life, is nothing to take too seriously! Discovering Magic Like most people, I tried to live my life in the usual mundane way for a very long time. That was often difficult. I worked myself to exhaustion only to find my bank account empty. I constantly worried about money, struggled to pay my bills, and eventually lost my house. I even lived in a camper shell on the back of a pick up truck for awhile. As you can see, I was really good at focusing on negative thoughts that magically attracted negative experiences!  My love
life wasn't much better. I went through a divorce and struggled on as a
single mother,
continually doubting myself and my abilities. Life sometimes seemed
hopeless and depressing, because I couldn't see a way out of my
problems. Then
I discovered magic and everything started to change.
Magic
is Law of Attraction in action!I finally realized that a Magical life can be like a flowing dance. It can be a fun adventure filled with unlimited possibilities and opportunities. I began to experience more and more moments of ecstatic joy and deep gratitude. This was a long process that spanned many years. Along the way, I gathered an amazing collection of Magical tools that I now use to pull myself out of any predicament almost effortlessly. Life just keeps getting better and better!
