Creating Portals: Faeries, Art, and the New Earth

The faeries are up to something.

They’ve always had a thing for art. Beauty. Truth. Poetry. Song and dance.

They live in a higher dimension—a dimension of harmony, cooperation and prosperity for all. That’s exactly what the New Earth is all about and the faeries (or Sidhe) and nature spirits are calling us to step into the New Earth to join them—and you can do it through art.

Art is a Portal!

From the moment humans started daubing ochre on cave walls, the faeries have been peeking over our shoulders, whispering, “Yes, but add more sparkle.” Okay, maybe not sparkle exactly—but definitely more soul. More feeling. More of the essence of the Otherworld. Because art, like faery magic, is a portal.

And now, as we dance (or stumble) into the dawn of the New Earth, this connection is becoming more important than ever.

So… what is the New Earth?

Great question. The New Earth isn’t a new planet we’re going to move to after this one implodes from bad decisions and plastic straws. It’s already here.

The old Earth isn’t going away, but we have the choice to move into the new reality right now. It already exists–just on a different timeline from the old Earth.

The New Earth is accessed through a shift in consciousness. A movement from domination to cooperation, from burnout to balance, from “me first” to “we’re in this together, so let’s compost our trauma and plant something beautiful.”

And who better to help us do that than the faeries?

Faeries as the Original Environmental Artists

Faeries aren’t just sparkly background characters in bedtime stories. In Celtic tradition (and in many other cultures), they’re guardians of the land. The real guardians of ecological stewardship. They whisper to the roots, sing to the rivers, and nudge us—gently or not-so-gently—back toward harmony.

In short, they create all the beauty and wonder of Nature. And art is one of their favorite languages.

When you paint, sculpt, write, dance, doodle or even type a prompt into an AI image bot from a place of true inspiration, you’re not just making something pretty. You’re opening a doorway.

You’re anchoring the energy of beauty, of magic, of what could be into a world that desperately needs inspiration.

Faeries love this. They slip through the cracks in your creativity and leave breadcrumbs for others to follow. They’ll ride the light in your paint, the curve of your ceramic bowl, the rhythm in your music—all the way into the hearts of those who see or hear it.

But… What if You’re Not an “Artist.”

First of all, yes you are. Second of all, the New Earth doesn’t care if you’ve got a degree from the Royal Academy of Whatever. The New Earth wants your truth. Your weird. Your joy.

Whether you’re painting wild, dreamlike forests or doodling stars on your planner, you’re participating in the restoration of magic. Every act of conscious creation becomes an invitation—to yourself, to others, to the world—to remember what’s possible.

If you have a good eye and appreciation for beauty, try using AI tools to create magical art. You may discover a whole new world of creative expression.

How to Make Art With the Faeries (No Wings Required)

If you want to start co-creating with the faeries, it doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, they’d prefer it isn’t. Try this:

  • Step outside. Literally. Go barefoot. Say hi to a tree. Listen.

  • Make space. Light a candle, play a little music, breathe deep, and ask the faeries to join you. They may show up uninvited anyway, but it’s polite to ask.

  • Create freely. Let go of perfection. Channel wonder instead. The faeries don’t care if your lines are crooked—they care if your heart is open.

  • Dedicate it. Offer your art to healing. To beauty. To the Earth. To the unseen kin who are cheering you on from the Otherworlds.

Art is Activism (The Kind that Shapes New Realities)

In a world full of algorithms and deadlines, taking time to create something just because it’s beautiful is a rebellious act.

Faery-aligned art isn’t about selling out or going viral. It’s about restoring enchantment. It’s about remembering that the Earth is alive, that imagination is sacred, and that joy is a form of resistance.

So the next time you feel called to make something—even if it’s just a chalk mandala on the sidewalk or a poem scribbled on a napkin—know that you’re not alone.

The faeries are watching. The Earth is listening. And the New Earth is quietly blooming through your fingertips.

Step through your own New Earth Portal, or one of mine, and enter the New Earth as often as you can. Before long, you’ll find that you’re living there all the time!
