Have you ever wondered how the food you eat could impact not only your health, but the very magic that shapes your life?

Over the years, I’ve discovered that weaving plant-based wellness into my life has released a new level of energy, inspiration, and connection with Nature’s rhythms.

It may sound simple, but the way we nourish ourselves is deeply spiritual—the vibration of food is magic in motion—and it affects our entire planet. Every meal is a quiet ritual for your body and spirit, whether or not you light candles and chant in Gaelic before breakfast. (Although, if you do chant in Gaelic, I’d love to come over and listen.)

Food Has Vibes—Literally

Everything hums at a certain frequency—like a cosmic playlist.

When you bite into a crisp apple fresh from the orchard, you’re tuning your body to the frequency of orchards, sunshine, bees, rain, and Earth’s sweet generosity.

When you bite into a potato chip that’s been sitting in a gas station aisle since the Bush administration, you’re tuning into…well, let’s just say it’s not sunshine. And animal products carry the vibration of fear and suffering, especially when sourced from factory farms. 😫

Science backs this up, though in its usual lab-coated, less poetic way. Fresh plants are brimming with enzymes, phytonutrients, living energy—and the fiber your microbiome loves.

On a vibrational level, that translates to vitality—life force energy. Your cells light up like faery lanterns when they get the good stuff.

Why Food Matters for Magic

When your cells are vibrating at a higher frequency—thanks to fresh, colorful, plant-based foods—you become a clearer channel for intuition, synchronicity, and creative flow.

Your brain works better and you have more energy for creative ventures.

Imagine yourself as a radio. Eating high-vibration foods is like fine-tuning your dial until suddenly the music comes in crystal clear. Instead of static, you’re dancing in your kitchen to Fleetwood Mac.

When I embraced a purely plant-based lifestyle over ten years ago, not only did my chronic aches and pains vanish—almost overnight, I noticed that my magical practice blossomed. My shamanic journeys deepened, my dreams became more vivid, and my energy no longer resembled the battery life of a three-year-old iPod.

Most of all, I felt more connected with Earth—not just poetically, but in my bones.

Small Swaps, Big Ripples

Start where you are.

  • Try adding a green smoothie in the morning.
  • Toss an extra handful of spinach into your salad.
  • Try a hearty lentil soup for lunch.

Pay attention to your mood, intuition, and daily energy.

For me, it wasn’t until I stopped eating gluten that things really improved on my plant-based diet. For you it might be soy, peanuts, corn or some other common allergen. Or maybe you are lucky and nothing seems to bother you!

Either way, just getting the high-fat animal products out of your life can improve or even cure most chronic disease conditions.

🥦 Natural weight release – Fiber-rich foods keep you full without calorie counting (or math-induced headaches).

🌞 Joint relief – Many notice arthritis aches and stiffness melting away, like morning fog in the sun.

🌸 Brighter skin – Acne, eczema, and psoriasis often calm down, leaving a clearer, more radiant glow.

✨ Many of these shifts happen fast—sometimes within weeks. Every body is different, but when you align with Earth’s high-vibe foods, your body usually responds with a standing ovation.

Organic Matters!

GMOs, herbicides, and pesticides are double trouble, because they mess up your gut microbiome. And a messed up gut biome messes with every function of your body.

Plus, think about the bees and butterflies, fish and frogs, and so many other creatures that are poisoned every day by agricultural chemicals—not to mention farm workers and children who live near commercial farms.

On top of that, commercial agribusiness is destroying our topsoil at an alarming rate and Mother Earth does NOT like that. So please support organic regenerative farmers if you possibly can by buying organic foods—and textiles, like organic cotton and hemp clothing.

But I digress…

Nature Wants to Help You!

Earth has stocked the pantry with high-vibration plant foods that heal, uplift, and delight us.

  • Carrots pull sunlight into their roots and offer it to our eyes.
  • Berries package antioxidants in edible jewels.
  • Leafy greens are solar panels you can eat.

The more we align with these gifts, the more our lives align with harmony. Eating plants isn’t just healthy—it’s a partnership with the Earth.

My Fifty-Year Experiment

I’ve been tinkering with this stuff for more than fifty years. From macrobiotics in the 70s (so much brown rice and salt!) to raw food phases that left me fantasizing about hot soup at midnight—I’ve tried it all.

What I’ve discovered is simple: there’s no rigid “one right way.” The key is tuning into living whole foods that are vibrant and colorful, then listening to your body’s feedback.

It’s a conversation, not a commandment.

Connect with Nature's bounty

Be warned, however—sometimes big dietary shifts can cause a bit of discomfort as your body clears out toxins and adapts to a healthy fiber intake—think gas or bloating, minor headaches, maybe a little brain fog. But don’t worry, that’s all temporary. In a week or two you’ll likely be feeling on top of your game.

The Ripple Effect

When we eat consciously, we ripple wellness outward.

Your vibrant energy uplifts your family, friends, and community. Your food choices signal to farmers and the wider economy that you value life-affirming foods.

Every bite becomes a quiet but powerful act of planetary healing magic.

That’s why I say plant-based eating is both personal and planetary magic. Each meal is an incantation for harmony, each choice a seed for the New Earth.

Here’s a simple way to make eating more magical:

  1. Pause before eating and thank the Earth, the sun, the rain, and the hands that brought this food to you.
  2. Imagine your meal glowing with light, charging your body with exactly what you need.
  3. Eat slowly, noticing the flavors, colors, and textures.

You don’t need to summon Merlin to bless your oatmeal. Just a little gratitude can turn an ordinary meal into a feast for body and spirit.
